Lucy here, I’m so glad you checked in to see my very first blog post. In fact, I’m so excited I had to step away from the computer to chase my tail!! I’m kinda dizzy now.

You may be wondering how a dog learns to write a blog. Well, I can tell you that everything I know about writing was learned from my dog mom, Debs. She thinks every kid and dog should have a voice. I never really had one until she adopted me. I went from home to shelter to home and back to the shelter. I longed to feel like I belonged, until my mom adopted me. That was so wonderful and scary all at the same time. Do you get a little afraid when trying something new? I do.

I’m excited to say that our story will hit the bookshelves this year. The book is called: Lucy’s Search for a Furever Home: A Rescue Dog’s True Story. I want our book to give hope to kids they can find a place where they belong.
