About Debs
Award-Winning Author of Children’s Stories
Founder and Publisher at Lucy’s Library
Writing stories woven with truth, inviting readers to belong beyond their pages
Living as an infant on a boat in the San Diego Bay, Debs Daniels was born into adventure. She spent four years living in Europe, Debs has lived life to the fullest whenever possible. She writes from that spirit of adventure, with the resolve of a single foster mom.
She writes stories to bring hope to kids, especially kids longing for a family to call their own.
Debs Daniels has always been a person of many words. They flow naturally to the page as she writes the day away in her Airstream camper. With her rescued pups by her side, chasing life wherever God leads.
Debs has always felt an ache in her heart for the lonely. Every life is a treasure and she wants readers to feel like they belong in her stories and beyond the page. That ache has led to her to serve refugee children in London, developmentally disabled kids in Turkey and as a single foster mom in the US.
Debs Daniels is the founder and top dog at Lucy’s Library, which was born out of a desire to cheer on indie authors. She discovered that these were not the books of her childhood, but full of fresh new life, more relevant than she expected.
